Hi i have a mtx 125. it started to pressure up and push water out the expansion tank and if i take off the radiator cap and rev it up it shoots out. i took the head off to reveal a knackered head gasket. so bought a genuine gasket kit and replaced the head gasket. it ran lovely for about 90 miles with no over heating. but now its started to do the same thing again Mad i have been told i should of got the head skimmed is this true?? and is there a significant way off torqueing down the head bolts?? can someone plz help me.
many thanks
jason

Headbolts should be tightend down in a 'diagonal' pattern, so tighten one down so far, then an opposite one, etc.

Will most likely need the head skimming as it may well have warped from the overheating. My TDR125 was the same till i got the head skimmed, was spot on after Thumbs Up

I presume that before the new gasket blew, the bike was close to overheating?
Honda MTX's are well known for overheating. When you have the head skimmed you might want to either test the thermostat (in the cylinder head cover) or remove it completely.
