My speedo runs off the front wheel, but doesn't appear to work. When I undo it at both ends the inner cable rotates fine. When I reattach the bottom end (at the front wheel) and spin the wheel the inner doesn't rotate - what is the problem likely to be?

thanks!

There is a little gearing system, thats probably fucked - how much can you dismantle it?

Take it apart and have a look to see where the turning stops.

Embarassed 1998 Yamaha YN50 Neo's Embarassed

My first foray into two wheeled motorised transport in 20 years (since my last motorbike) - will work my way up the scale as and when I can afford CBT, and the rest etc. Laughing
