Trying to remove the stanchion from one of the sliders on the bike, and using the slide-hammer method. This worked perfectly on the right, popped out the seal easily, but on the left the seal will not move AT ALL. I've been trying as hard as I can to get it off, but it wont budge.

Anyone got any tips on how to remove a seal that wont come out this way?

i took out old seals using a pry bar (or long screwdriver will do) use the edge of the fork to lever against with the bar under the seal. just make sure you protect the fork otherwise you might damage the finish. insulated screw driver will do as long as its strong enough.
