YM600 Alarm I didnt know I had!!

Hi,

My bike has been sat under cover since October and no surprise the battery was discharged and knackered when I came to try and start it.

I purchased and charged a new battery and upon conencting it got the shock of my life when an alarm on the bike started sounding.

I didnt even know the bike had an alarm till now!!

Now I cant get the bugger to disarm. I can start the bike and all is ok, except for a flicker of the hazards every thirty seconds, but as soon as I turn the ignition off, the alarm goes off again.

I have had to disable the battery whilst I figure out what to do.

The alarm is a YM600 and is fitted to my Yamaha FZ6.

Any ideas how I can fix this or disable the alarm completely??
