Dunno I might have posted this pic before but I just stumbled across it on my HDD and it made me smile, so I though I'd post it up Smile

Given that this bike has been 265mph - can you imagine the catastrophe if it had actually torn the last bits free and thrown the chain?

That's twice the speed that I came off my own bike. Sends a shudder down my spine just thinking about it!

EDIT - no it's not my bike. Mine is a couple of hundred horsepower less than this one.

How new was that sprocket? did it do that after a few runs or has it been on for a while?.... still Shocked

Actually.....you're right. But I don't know the torque figure.

At a guess I'd say it was - a lot Very Happy

Over 300lbs/ft for sure. Probably more than 350.

No idea but it would have less than 50 miles on it at a guess. I trashed a 11,600lb Tsubaki chain in 16 miles with just over 300hp.

Nothing lasts long on these things.

It was the sheer power of mental will of the people who paid to see it in the cinema or bought it on DVD who wished the film to be destroyed that caused the damage you see here. Who says telekenesis doesn't exist?
