When I bought my old 06 R6, I tried a GSXR 600 and much prefered the Yamaha.

I voted R6 but I was thinking of the late 90s versions of each as they're the ones I'd consider buying. Pretty much based it on looks too as they're both very capable bikes.

i think the suzi's are two similar and to common, so i voted the r6
(latest model).
i think since 06 it has been one of the best looking jap sports bike out.

For the late 90s sportsbike, definitely the R6. All the rest seemed to be 5 years behind in terms of looks, they all still had those ugly
fairing bars up front. The R6 had the most sportiest lines which were all in proportion.

So the R6 all the way up to the K5 GSXR. Not a big fan of the new R6's they remind me of 125's.

The Suzuki is the most popular from what i've seen, Ace Cafe is about 80% GSXR's. Mr. Green
