Cagiva Elefant 750...

Anyone got any info on these? Reliable? Comfy?
Anything really, seen one i like the look of but apart from knowing it uses a Ducati engine i know nothing..

Very poor eletrical system and hard to get parts for, apart from that there good rally bikes.

i have 2 750 elefants and 2 900 elefants love them to bits
no great problems 10 mileish to litre parts still about do a round europe trip 2 up with camping gear every year france italy swiss 2000miles no prob
and use every day summer and winter
owned first 750 for about 8 years and added others when they
turned up at good money
ducati engine no prob just oil change pretty regular and belts
every 2 years not a hard job
lucky srike colours are best but all a matter of taste

I've since found out its a Gran Canyon (which i thought had the 900 motor, but this is a 750..??)

Not sure what, if any, fundamental differences there are between this and the Elefant..?
