if the engine is good... buy a new set of forks, rear shock, and replace every bearing, and youve got a mint bike there....

mileage only kills suspension, engines and bearings. the electrics, frame etc will be fine.

Plenty of R1's on eBay go for less than £2000 and they have less miles. That of course, excludes the models with the classic red&white paintjobs which seem to go for a fair amount of money!!!
