Gotta say that I personally dont. Just looked at all the possible forums I could be going into, but I only seem to go into the 'General, Touring and Scotland' forums.

Noticed that there are loads of posts and threads in other forums, so they must get some people going into them.

Where do you spend most of your BCF time ?

https://www.bikechatforums.com/search.php?search_id=newposts

Use that as your BCF bookmark, that way you can see much more stuff from every forum.

Wherever I decide. Depends what's happening where, and what grabs my attention...like Joe, I too press the new posts button and go from there.

I also like to re-visit my own posts, especially if I want to see response to something I wrote. Thumbs Up

General Bike Chat, Show and tell, Pictures, occasionally videos and Random Banter is where I tend to 'hang'. I actually only discovered the gem that is Random Banter a few months back!

The first places I check when I come on are Touring and Exploring, General Bike Chat and Random Banter. Next on the list will be The North but it doesn't get much activity.

Then I'll just scan through the rest.

I don't think I've ever used the new post button.

When I realised I am bored I open in tabs

General Bike Chat
The Workshop
Random Banter

Then extended boredom

Show and Tell
Found on the Net
Geek Zone

If I am really bored I will open the others that I can.

Using it to its full potential? hmm, I have bought and sold stuff on here, I use it frequently, I speak to some people off here on msn quite often. All in all, finding BCF has been probably one of the biggest time killers of all.

I only ever use:

https://bikechatforums.com/search.php?search_id=egosearch

and

https://bikechatforums.com/viewall.php

which is like the new posts page but shows everything as well as if you've viewed it or not anyway. Navigating the sub forums one by one? Madness!

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 15 years, 301 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
