Anyone here watch this tosh and are you actually sucked in by it all? I'm sure many of you on here do believe that they are real but I just thought id pass on some information so you can make a more informed decision.

I used to believe in it all until I saw a very interesting interview that was conducted by Richard Dawkins, where he interviewed Derren Brown about the speech and language used in these sessions and how they trick the crowd into believing it all. The psychology behind it is very interesting, and I find it amazing how easily people can be manipulated by these frauds.

Now these people piss me off no end, they are charging £300.00 for the privilege of getting some fake to bring up all that pain you experienced from loosing a family member for their own gains. A front row seat to John Edward cost's on ebay £299.99. My personal view is that this is sick and they are trampling over peoples lives. My family are sucked in by it all and refuse to watch these video's and I'm reluctant to show it to them as they want to believe it so badly. It's a strange conundrum to be in... do you tell people the truth or let them believe this with a chance of causing more hurt?

If you have taken the time to watch these videos, or you have an opinion regardless then I welcome a discussion/debate.

Anyhow that's my rant out the way. What are you opinions?

Yes, they are indeed all cunts.

I saw an advert the other week for some tart who markets herself as a "Stand-up medium", just when I thought I'd seen it all, they make the genius combination of talking to dead people and comedy.

To be honest though, if I had a scam going whereby I could charge £300 a head to feed people a load of shite for a couple of hours, I'd sleep pretty well at night, because at the end of the day, if you are retarded enough to buy into it, you pretty much deserve what you get.

A fool and his money are soon parted, as they say.

It'd be great to go to one of these shows, get picked out by them, then halfway through their "grandma says she missus sunday dinners with the family" speech, just shout out "Fuck all that shit, where'd you leave the money old bag? Is there a god? What about heaven and hell, do they exist? Hows about next weeks lottery numbers? Whats the meaning of life? Where exactly are you? What does it look like? Whats the weather like, if indeed theres any weather at all? Who murdered you and where can we get the evidence?"

or even, when they tout the line "Your father said he misses you very much and would love to spend just one more day with you on earth", reply with "What, so he could molest me just one more time?". Worm your way out of that one Derek! I'd pay the £300 to see him tackle that clanger!

Yep, all in all it's seems as though death, according to these mediums, is actually rather dull, and theres not much going on there.

Live life to the max......because death is pretty boring really.

Someone on here said scratch cards were a essentially a tax on stupidity. I would say the same thing about paying to watch shows presented by the people pictured above.

I've watched a few of these because I find them interesting, I have even been to see Colin Fry but that wasn't my choice.

The thing is though I have seen and heard things that are unexplainable. But wether or not people can actually communicate with ghosts I don't know.

I dont bother to watch them shows I find them boring
and to charge people that amount of money is ridiculous! it is making money out of peoples grief. I do know mediums and such b, I did pay like £3 just to see once and was interesting but I would take it with a pinch of salt.The first time I was 17 at a fare and paid £40!!! rip off and all of it was a load of crap. I seen right through them. None of it ever came true but I was young and nieve. I do like ghost hunting programs that arnt taken over by mediums and stone throwers for entertainment.
