If you got the details of the car and you feel aggrieved by his behaviour, tell the police. Perhaps other people have reported the same person, if more people do the same then they may be able to pursue him or set up a patrol to watch him. It might help, it might not. All it might do is make you feel better for having 'done the right thing.' Idea

With all this evidence I'm sure they'll send an armed response unit right over.

Sorry, but all you have is some stonechip damage to your car and absolutely no proof how it happened. For all the cops will know (or care) you drove down a gravel road too quickly and are trying to get some innocent chav in trouble.

Just content yourself with the story that will eventually appear in the paper: 'Wayne Thierry Charvington, 19, died after driving off a cliff, exploding in mid-air, and landing in flames atop his mother's house, crushing her.'

I wouldn't tell the police.

I got hit intentionally by a BMW which then sped off. I went in to report it and they took the piss out of me, told me that a BMW couldn't have done that and then was threatened to "tell my sister for wasting police time" because she went to school with her.

My sister is a heavy drug user and couldn't care less what I do so clearly I was shitting it. Rolling Eyes

Tbh, that's the only female that I've encountered that I would punch full force in the face (the woman in the police station, not my sister).

I see it all the time and now feel it is time to speak up.
I am sure most of the youth of today are illiterate.

Spelling mistakes or typing errors are acceptable.
eg: When typing 'Our', it is acceptable to type 'Oir' (with the U and the I being so close to one another).

BUT: 'Are' in place or 'Our' is diabolical.
The A is 7 keys across and one row down from O Shocked

Shocking. I am going to report this to Korn.

to be fair though the rest was quite well written..

mixing up 'are' and 'our' are simply examples of acoustic encoding gone wrong rather than a spelling mistake.

sorry Face. but I wouldn't think there is much you can do, some people just drive like twats, just deal with it and move on, more important things to worry about in life.

Depends how badly they were driving and how near to killing me. If I was on the bike it'd be a case of me going berserk and chasing them down the road and having a direct rant at them for going on the way they did.

HOWEVER, what you should do is report them to the fuzz and complain about it. At the very least they may be involved in an accident and when the complaint is flagged up on the Police system they'll take that into consideration.

A or B?...or all of the above?

But thats my exact point.
Its not a simple spelling mistake or a typo ... which anyone is capable of doing.
Instead it is someone spelling a simple word such as 'our', using the way it 'sounds'.
Thats not good in anyone over 6 years of age. (my lad (5yrs) would be chastised strongly for that)
And at the age where someone is allowed to ride a vehicle on the road, it concerns me greatly.

Innit.

I agree with this, it is well worth reporting to the police if you feel aggrieved. You never know, the patrol car that went by might have had an on-board camera which recorded the idiot trying to overtake a car that was slowing down for the police to pass.

I'm always of the view that you should report these things, because that type of driving is unsafe and might kill someone. If enough people complain then the police will have some cause to go after him.

If you felt that strongly about it you should have reported it, but if you report it now they'll ask why the delay seeing as you knew the police were looking for said car, when you say you were trying to get a response on whether you should report it or not on an internet forum they'll probably laugh...

If you feel that strongly about something deal with it as soon as, don't make threads and wait for replies on teh interwebz...

If he nearly took a biker out, then reporting it to the police may be a good idea. Especially if the biker did the same, you have just managed to get a nutter off the road Karma

You are one of those people that take little things and turn them in to something huge Confused

From what I gather some knobhead in a Peugeot was driving erratically so you followed him, that's about it Confused I've never heard of someone's car being 'badly damaged' because they got over took by someone in a small Peugeot

Are you new to the road or something? Have you been driving round with your eyes closed? Sleep well knowing that if he carries on he's going to die in an RTA, nothing else

lets jst cross our fingers and hope the little prick removes himself from the gene pool in some horridly painful way without taking any innocent parties with him.
Thumbs Up

You know all thoes scary statistics that we'r always quoted about how so many people die in high speed car accidents etc etc...
hopefully it will make you feel better knowing he is very likely to be one of them and his mother can go and stick it for being so ignorant over her little angel!
Thumbs Up

Its just a shame that c*nts like these take out innocent human beings in the process
