Lost Planet 2 - Meh Confused

Been meaning to have a word in your ear actually ...

Lately my drive is taking about 20 ejects to actually spin the game up , it used to do it with the odd game but now it's every game .

The drive is a Hitachi and has older firmware on - console has never seen Live and plays all the latest games so it's not a firmware issue .

I'm guessing laser ? Anyway you can help me mate , and what's it going to cost ?

You can either replace the laser yourself for a few £ via eBay, make sure it's a hitachi laser, if that's not the problem then their is another mod to make sure the laser goes back to the center of the disc properly if it's not reading.

I've heard you can get another drive and swap over the circuit board inside or something ? does that sound right ?

As long as you buy another Hitachi yes mate.

You can't put a hitachi board in another brand, ie. benQ, Liteon, Samsung etc.

can you explain mate you have one that you can copy straight to drive? I have never chipped or modded a sex box.

Played the opening intro and the part after when it goes back to reality, I'm playing on a 50 inch with 5.1 surround it's it's fucking scary Laughing It's a little Silent Hill/Condemned like, where you have a torch with you to light the way, but you have to point it exactly where you want it. Excellent graphics though and quality gameplay, I'll play more tonight after kickboxing.

Finished it yesterday - great game that never really lets up on the tension .

I love the way the mist twirls and trees shake before the Taken arrive Twisted Evil

Only gripe is that it's a little short and the end is ..... not all there it seems and is blatantly left open for some DLC whoreage .
