But even if it is and I'm still riding a bike that's too close to the 33bhp limit to call - I'm still very excited that today is the first day I can ride ANY bike! Dance!

Yep, my restriction ends today and so I begin the process of finding the next 'right' bike for me. Laughing

Hmmm, I'd prefer a bike that actually goes faster than my current one not slower!! Laughing

Unfortunately I don't have much choice, I just got a renewal letter through saying my photo is 10 years old and I have to pay £20 and send a new photo - robbing gets...
I'll just have to put an additional note in the envelope to please remove my restriction at the same time, though with the stories I hear on here about the DVLA I'm not looking forwards to doing this. Confused

if i were you, id get it photocopied before you send it off.

or make sure youve still got your pass certificate from your bike test.

Pass test isn't any use as it'd be after 2 years.

Also photocopies won't be proof.

Just tell them tyou lost it.

Naaah, as someone stated, you "lost" your licence. It'll probably magically turn up if they cock up your entitlements in the new one Wink

you can get the <25kw removed for free when you change address... in my case, i slipped in a little note in my license to the DVLA and it surprised me that the obliged. I thought it was something like £20 to have it removed back in the day... don't have to worry about it anymore mind!
