Hi guys just thought id say hello as I've just signed up. Ive been browsing a few forums and this seems the most useful.

Ive been driving for about 7 years and have decided to get into biking for my commute to work and hopefully have some enjoyment out of it too!

Although I am old enough to take my test and jump on a big bike, ive only ever ridden a moped so that probably isnt a good idea haha!

Ive bought a kangda ks125 which is basically a copy of a suzuki gs125. I know I will probably get flamed for this but its an 02 model with 5000 miles on the clock, I figure if its still going now then it cant be too bad to learn on, plus it has full mot ticket and tax, new exhaust, chain, sprocket and forks. All for a swap with a 15 year old punto that was worth about 50p and a pack of mayfair Smile

Anyways my main question is this, the plastic fairings on the bike are looking abit tired and ive been on ebay and found new fairing parts for the suzuki version selling fairly cheap. Do any knowledgeable people reckon they wil swap straight over or I may have issues with it being a copy?

Ermmm this is a good question to be honest, if the bike is an exact replica of the suzuki gs125 then more than likely the answer would be yes however this is not 100%.

If i was you i would find somewhere close to you that sells the parts and go to view and measure up, buying parts willy nilly on what someone else says is risky.

P.S could you define "tired" a bit more, this could just be a simple fix like a bit of a touch up with some paint etc Wink

Hi and thanks for the reply. I've picked the bike up and got it home now. Upon closer inspection I will only need to replace one panel which goes under the seat.

Can pick this up on the bay for less than £20 so il take a chance.

As for the rest of the panels, il give those a paint in a new colour as there red and to be honest I don't like red haha.
