I'm thinking of getting this for touring, just to keep in the panniers ready to pull on over my regular wear if it starts raining. Any thoughts (on this make or similar)?

Got a similar one (Tech 7) and it's great in the winter as it stops a lot of the wind blast more than my textiles do, and is completely waterproof. Never had any luck with reproofing my textiles as they'll always end up leaking after 15-20 minutes in a downpour. Really needed it over winter for my commute (about 1 hour).
