Michelin Pilot Power/2CT

Thinking of grabbing a pair of these for the SV650S as the Dunlops I have on there are due to be changed anyway (1.6mm tread) and they are on offer in the local tyre garage.

Anyone had any experience with them on the road? If so, some feedback would be nice.

These and the Pilot Roads are on offer, which'd be the best considering I generally ride in all weathers but I do like to lean the SV quite a bit.

I rate the Pilot Road 2's highly... Handled everything i have thrown at them on the ZX6

Pilot Road 2CT have been good to me, done 5 trackdays and are good in the wet.

2ct been round the track and on the road, plenty of grip, predictable even on the limit of the tyre, haven't got good enough to over heat them yet, but good enough to ground out stock foot pegs...

personally i prefer corsa 3's although there's not much difference

I go for pilot power 2cts and it gave me soo much more confidence in my bike, First got my knee downs with these and i havent gone for owt else since, last about 3500 on my r6. Id recomend them but id like to try afew others out, just its an expensive game esipically if you get a pair ya dont get on with

I think your better off with pilot road 2's, I use them on my zx7r and they are fantastic. Also stuck a pair on my zx6r and got my knee down on them no problem for the first time

Can't see you needing power 2ct's on an sv for the road! If your planning on throwing in regular trackdays then maybe it would be worth it

Don't warm up as quickly, and aren't as confidence inspiring as Corsa IIIs in my experience. Not bad tyres, just less good that Corsa IIIs.

I've had a pair of Pilot Power's on the GSXR for about 4000 miles now, and the rear still has about 1mm left, and let's just say most of my riding is 'spirited'.

I've had them on 3 bikes now and always found them fantastic, very confidence inspiring, great in the wet and they last really well in my experience.

Have them on my SV and love them. Not really had any problems with them at all, and have taken everything i've thrown at them (albeit noobish things )

Very confidence inspiring... and warm up real quickly too.
