Hi all, i've decided to street-fighter my baby! (GS500), she's getting a complete overhaul, tail-chop, Chrome, the works!
I thought a bigger tank would make it look abit meaner!
Does anyone know if GSX R600 tank would fit? im also considering the GSX R600 engine if i can squeeze one in
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Probably not...
The GS tank mounts are different AFAIK...and in regards to the engine, anything is possible with time etc... but you might aswell buy a GSXR with the cash you would spend on it |

bear in mind the gsxr tank is alot wider than the gs, benig a 4 cylinder bike the frame is wider,
i would focus on the tail swap, and putting a usd front end on, and either changing the back wheel, or doing a complete swingarm and wheel conversion,
i put a bandit 6 rear wheel on mine, and a gsxr front end,
i also made the mistake of putting on a srad tail, which just looked stupid,
so ended up with just a small seat and no tail,
the gs tank is ok looking anyway.
gimmee a yell if you want particulars, on how to do any conversions to the gs,
i pretty much did them all ____________________ the humans are dead
