Hi Guys

Need y'all help...just got in2 bikes and currently live near south wales, close to all awesome welsh windy roads.

Family want me 2 move back to bucks...but as my passion is bikes, am not at all convinced, cos not sure if roads can match up 2 local ones and if there's friendly bike meets locally???

Know there are great rds around box hill and south downs, but this is a bit of a trek from Stokenchurch/Oxford

Nothing great around Boxhill really. Most of berkshire is a bit staid - short hedge-row lined funish sections interspersed with NIMBY filled small 30mph villages.

Oxford starts to open out a bit and gets better the further North you get, but still not amazing.

theres plenty of places around, just gotta know where to look Smile

my usual haunt is loomies or h cafe/foxes diner. have been to bury hill too but not often.

box hill is nice but i havent been this yr yet and i hear the winters ruined the roads over there

Any roads from Bicester that head towards the cotswolds are perfect. Any road that takes you through Chipping X/Y/Z are halfway decent. Fosse Way's pretty decent and that takes you up to Stratford on Avon
