You are looking at a Honda Bros NT400J.

Manufactured 1992, Imported 2001, I am the first UK owner. I purchased the bike (October 03) when it had 11000km's on the clock. The bike is 100% road legal, still has original exhaust in mint condition and a legal size plate.

This is a 33 horsepower bike. It has no restrictors, it simply makes 33 horsepower when full power (I have dyno graph for this bike to prove), absolutely ideal for those recently passed their test, and are looking for something that makes the most of their restriction without having to fork out 150 quid for a restriction kit.

For those looking for an idea of performance, this bike will cruise all day 140km/h happily and return 40+ miles to the gallon, and will show just under 180km/h on the clocks at redline in top gear.

The current milage is 22182 km's which amounts to just over 13000 miles, very low for a bike of this age. It has MOT till October 26th 2004. The bike is not taxed as it has been off the road for just under a month due to me buying another bike.

The bike is mechanically sound, I have never had any engine problems with it whatsoever, it has recently been serviced by myself, including new air filter, and oil and filter change.

The bike has recent BT45's, and the chain and sprockets were changed about 2000 km's ago. Since buying the bike I have spent a large amount on it. Work has included new progressive Hagon front fork springs, and new fork oil and dust seals. I replaced the clutch with EBC heavy duty clutch plates and springs.

Recently rebuilt front brake master cylinder, plus goodridge stainless steel braided front hose. I have purchased EBC HH pads, but have not yet fitted them, I will include them with sale.

With the sale I will include, 4 brand new NGK spark plugs, EBC HH front pads as mentioned, brand new Yuasa Battery unused. Spare pattern fork oil and dust seals, various spare headlight/indicator/instrument bulbs, and an Official Parts Fiche book from Honda. I also have the original Japanese log books for the bike.

Honest bit.....the bike isnt mint cosmetically, it has a few scratches and chips on the paintwork and tank as you would expect for a bike this age. The radiator is bent on the left side of the bike, im assuming from a low speed drop, but this was on the bike when I purchased it, and it suffers no ill effects from this, as it is simply the edge of the radiator that is bent, it is not split and functions 100%. The front indicators are quite tatty, but both function correctly, would be very easily sorted with a pair of aftermarket items. Overall the bike is still very tidy, and scrubs up quite nicely considering its age.

My opinion, this is a very reliable bike that will not cause you any mechanical hassle, regular oil changes will see the speedo run round the clock. I have used this bike every day all year round, and it has never failed to start. Ideal for those recently passed their test as this bike will also offer very reasonable insurance premiums. I have ridden this bike all over the country, it has taken me from London th Portsmouth twice weekly, without complaint, and is more than capable at distance. It is comfortable for long periods in the saddle, but unlike most naked style bikes, it has a sporty chassis very similar to that found on the NC30 that will allow you to hustle it around the twisties if the mood takes you.

to be honest, £950, as i have a lot of debt to clear, but its not exactly urgent

yes some of them go for less than that on ebay, but some also go for a lot more, mine is low mileage, and i reckon if i hold out longer enough i could get that

so...your call really, id get your test sorted first however
