Is there an intercooler on the back of the console?

if not, are both exhaust fans working on the back of the console normally? or did he 12v them.

E68: Hard Drive Error - Hard drive not DMA configured: It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive, Try removing the hard drive and playing without it. Also this can be caused by a problem with the fans that make them draw too much power, it can also be caused if you have unnecessary accessories attached to the console like an external fan unit. Attempt to remove unnecessary accessories first, and then necessary components such as the hard drive and USB devices. If you have any case mods you may want to investigate those as well.

If he set the fans to 12v then the wiring or solder joint may have failed, are they both deffo working fine? or the 12v mod may be drawing too much power, I'm guessing he was a pillock and used a poor 12v source on the board.

have you tried the hard drive on another console?

Not got another console, will try tomorrow. One fan seems to be more powerful than the other. It might be me tho.

They should be the same, like I said above, I reckon he's used a very poor 12v source to run the fans from, my guess is he used the hard drive port.

These are the best sources.

No that won't work mate.

If you want to make your own hard drive rather than but another it has to be a Western Digital 120gb SATA BEVS HDD, or a 250gb SATA BEVS HDD.

You'll also need a SATA connection on your PC, and flash the drive with the relevant HDDSS.

It's all done via software mate, just swapping Keyvaults from my old unbanned xbox 360.

I've got a funny feeling they'll reset my gamerscore anyway when they see I'm on 180,000 Laughing
