After going for a nice 100+ mile ride on Sunday my dad is now thinking about getting rid of his R1.

When he got back into biking about 5 years ago he got himself nice ZX7 then went for a 636, 11 months after that that he bought an R1.

He's now decided he wants to go back to a 636 and is now on the hunt for the last model they done (06 I think) in black.

So what do you think?

Good move?
or
Bad move?

I think the 636C1H (And up or down a few models) are amazing bikes.

Im more envious that he has the ability to switch between such awesome bikes than anything... Middle Finger

I think its a good thing.your dad has experienced a few different bikes and has decided that the 636 is the bike he likes and suits him most. Hope he finds his bike of choice

He's not flash or loaded. He bought the R1 with some redundentcey money a few years ago.

His last 636 was an 02 model, how do they compare to the C1H?

That's what I'm saying. The 2002 compared to the C1H is lardy, underpower and underbraked.

I'll vouch for that. Lovely bike to ride as well, smooth and controllable power. I love mine and it's my dream bike too.

B1H Thumbs Up
