Hi guys

Having asked for your assistance in the past, I now refer to your esteemed assistance.

This is for my OH, who wants to play Empire Total war as well (dont ask, shes as much a geek as I am!)

specs are as below::

Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. (All ready on the system)

Intel Core 2 Duo 6750 2.7ghz

new motherboard still under warranty

600watt power supply

4GB corsair ddr2 6400 ram

PNY Geforce GTS 250 512mb graphics card (performance edition)

320GB sata hard drive

DVD +/- RW drive (multi speed)

Black Gaming Case

Wireless Keyboard

Wired mouse

A HP 3 in 1 Printer

LCD 17 INCH Plug And Play Monitor (resolution 1280 x 1024)

PLUS:

A Mercury Home Theatre Surround Sub Woofer System For The PC (4 speakers)

Aliens Vs Predator Game

A gaming Controller

A spare 320gb hard drive

2 Sticks of 1gb ddr2 5300 ram

All for £300.00

It's not new, and doesn't come with a warranty..is it worth the risk?

Thanks!

System requirements
2.4 Ghz processor
256 MB video card
1 GB RAM XP / 2 GB Vista
15 GB hard disk space

So yes it will play it, though not especially well i don't think.
Surely you already have a monitor, case, power supply, operating system etc? So why re-buy them?

I just bought myself an upgrade:

4GB DDR3-1333
Motherboard with on board sound, networking, ATI 4200HD graphics
AMD Phenom 2 6X 2.8ghz (now running at 3.2ghz x 6 Laughing )
All bought for £330, installed in about 30 minutes.

To be honest no, the pc I have is for me (so monitor etc are all on mine).

This will be a complete package, so to speak.

Did you buy that as parts or from a shop?

This is for a birthday, i wont lie I just dont have the experience to go building pcs so would prefer to buy one. But if I can get just the actual unit (ie all but the graphics card) and upgrade that and the power supply then im quite happy. Ive got a spare 500GB Hard Drive that my brother can put in for me, so that there isnt an issue.

Just a little stuck really!
