..when you can drive one of these on a bike license!

https://fotos.autocasion.com/img/anuncios/MICROCAR-mc2-Paris-13090269.jpg

With a 505cc twin cylinder engine and a whopping 21bhp!

Yer...or maybe not. It's revolting.

Estimated maximum speed of 72mph, I'm guessing that's with the passanger seat removed, going down hill, with the wind behind it.

You can drive it on Category A? Or do you need B1, which recent bike licenses don't have anymore?

that class of car is quite popular in rural france as you don't really need a full licence over there so you find a lot of old people/drunks have them.

As I remember, we can drive 4 wheelers not exceeding 450 kilos.
G-wiz is included in this category I guess. Any confirmation?

Why would you WANT to drive a G-Wiz even if you could?

below 500kg wet weight and single seat trike/quad/small car can be ridden on "car" Learner licence/b1 without a qualified driver present or even any lessons.

The catagory b1 that covered these vehicles used to be part of the bike licence group, They changed the classes/catagories round without really telling anyone, This basicly leaves a bike licence holder unabled to ride any thing other than a bike a moped or pedestrian powered vehicles whether they have passed the test or not, you can't even ride a trike/quad on recent bike licences because b1 is now part of the car entitlment.

It's worth photo copying your licences before you renew them as dvla can and do ammend entitlments without warrant, but with out proof they used to be on your old licence it's very difficult to get them reinstated especially since dvla destroy your old licence and do not keep accurate records regarding previous entitlments.

Your doubly boned if you don't have a copy of your test pass cert as they get destroyed when sent to dvla too.

After going through a couple of snowy winters over th lincolnshire wolds on a bike i ended up getting a plastic pig.
And as you might imagine, i got some serious piss taken at work.
Until 3 blokes who car shared broke down and was desperate for a lift swallowed their pride asked for a lift.
After that the pig was seen in a different light.
That pig took me to Glasgow and Cornwall.

The whole cat B1 rule is crap.

I got a full bike licence restricted to 33bhp i also have a full car licence, which means i can ride a 1000cc trike unrestricted, but if i loose a wheel im restricted to 33bhp lol

None

Bikes are cat A,
Cars are cat B
Heavy vehicles are cat C
Passenger vehicles are cat D

prefix followed by a "1" indicates the "light entitlement"
prefix followed by a "e" indicates a "with trailer" entitlement

If YOUR license says B1 or B in the entitlements you can drive any three or four wheeled vehicles you like if it doesn't then your stuck to two wheels

if it is not written your notallowedd to drive it ... simples

if its provisional then as far as i can see the usual rules for provisional car drivers apply, including L plates and supervision.
.... There is talk of the rules being if the vehicle is onlymanufacturedd with a single seat then supervision is not required, however i can't find any official reference to this from either the DVLA or the Road Traffic Act.

You need to look at YOUR license, just because one person was given a full B1 cat with their cat A 20 years ago, does not mean that you will have it too.
