Thats arcade mode, simulation has none of those things.

Still doesn't look as "simulation" like as TT superbikes, those bikes handled so realistic it was ausome.

Tourist Trophy had pretty neat handling.

in SIM mode that push A to lean forward thing is gone?

Thank god for that, it was so bad on MOTOGP9/10 i won't buy it!

Small things annoy me with these games, if your just using buttons the throttle is basically an on/off switch.

even using manual gears you still dont have any control over the clutch and it's supposed to be 'sim mode'

burnouts & donuts are unrealistic

on the last sbk game in sim mode i got within 2 seconds of a time i set in the dry while racing in the wet

and the ai rarely make a mistake or do anything out of the ordinary, sort those things instead of concentrating on graphics and it'd be great

The burnouts/stoppies/wheelies are utter wank.

Lack of a clutch is wank.

MotoGP 07 and prior were much more fun, at least you could do a decent rolling burnout!

MX vs atv's new control system.

Combined with some decent handling.

A trick system, and manual gears.

Progressive clutch,
Independant and progressive brakes.

Some real tracks, some road tracks, and a big fuck off empty carpark.

Everything from RD125's to CRF450's to M1's to GS1200's

That'd be the ONLY bike game you'dneed.

never happen, because you can't make money on ONE awesome game.

Plus mods to all bikes + rider.

Rider positioning similar to Tourist Trophy...

Sorry buddy.

Was picturing my perfect game.

Don't think the controller could handle all of that though.

Especially with dual stick steering/leaning (reflex)

Progressive front brake i can have on left trigger.
Throttle on Right Trigger.
I'd need rear brake on Left Bumper(for whoolies)
Then i'd have nowhere for clutch.

I could maybe deal with automatic gears lol.

I thought about that aswell in loads of depth the other night with a friend.

You'd want a bike shell in the room thats run on hydro rams, so you can lean(force feedback) wheelie/stoppie etc.

Your weight/position on the bike reflects rider in game.

Instead of a screen, a light helmet with a visor with a display on the inside.

(technology is already there for this kinda thing)

and maybe a small powerful fan in the cockpit of the bike to emulate some wind lol.

Some of the idea's are flawed granted, but it can be done amazingly given time and loads of dollar/

I don't think there'll ever be a decent bike sim, i think the best that can be hoped for is a decent arcade type game.
There's just far too much that goes into riding a bike to ever acurately recreate it without having something like this in your living room:

Even then, it's still going to need to map rider's body position and weight distribution etc
Car sims are much 'easier' to do, and with a decent controller go quite far towards recreating the experience - obviously the only thing really lacking is the physical effects on the human body i.e pushed back into the seat under acceleration etc.

Of the games I've played the best for bikes has been PGR4 IMO as it had a good balance of fun and realism.

I'll be getting SBK X anyway and will report back

I want an AMAZING game i can play on my controller and lay in bed and play.

and on the onboard view the rider is upshifting using the clutch

and looking at the 'simulation' settings, there doesn't seem to be anything new, and still no manual clutch

I managed to do 1 lap then turned it off, nothings changed its the same garabage as last years game, I imagine this is how somone who has no idea about motorcycles or racing would make a game.

Theres so many things wrong I can't ven be arsed to list them.
