Hiya, back from a week in sunny(ish) Devon and I have so much work to catch up with that I'm not going to have time to catch up with BCF for ages. I know what my priority would be but my boss won't agree! Wink
So, what have been the highlights and lowlights since 3rd July? Anything exciting happen?!
Cheers! Thumbs Up Very Happy

Sunny(ish) in Devon?

The weather has been bloody crap in Surrey - definitely a lowlight! Mad

Highlights - I've got BT-020's, they grip so well in the wet! Very Happy

It was sunnyish! I even managed to get a bit of sunburn! Brick Wall

Good to hear about the grippy tyres - hope you get to try them out in the dry too soon!

A week in the life of a bikechatforums.com user...

Monday

Logged on Karma still the same Crying or Very sad do those bl**dy blobs ever move I've seen Granny's using Zimmer frames with more momentum.
Fights and Flamewars was good today a newbie came online, his moniker was 'NovaBoi', he said bikers were 'scumy' and looked like 'powah rangerz' (whatever they are) and used the 'C' and 'F' words a lot there were some witty ripostes from the usual anger managers on here but then one of the Mods came on and really gave him a lesson in typographical warfare.

Tuesday

Just a quick visit today as I've actually got some paperwork to catch up on at work Thumbs Down
There was a poll today asking whether or not 'Ducartie4ever' should have BLT, Cheese 'n Pickle, Tortilla Wrap or Bugger All for Lunch - I voted Bugger All 'cos he started the thread at 1.42pm and I reckon if he ate that late he'd spoil his dinner. I voted for 'B' - Corn on the Cob for his dinner although it looked like 'D' - KFC was winning by a mile when I logged off.

Wednesday

Photo Section was dead cool today, there was knee, elbow and even hand down photos. The pictures of the Barbecue were good although I didn't think that blokes wearing suspenders and alcohol was a very good combination. I clicked on a picture that said 'NWS' next to it and have been suspended from work pending further investigation.

Thursday

I ventured into the New Biker Section today top 3 'newbie' (that's what we call them Wink ) questions...

Can I ride a derestricted R6 on a restricted CBT whilst undertaking my DAS and riding a 33bhp trike on L plates?

Cheap Leathers for £35.00 anyone know where I can buy some?

Arai or Skateboard Helmet?

Friday

I answered a question in General Chat today it was about how fast you go I lied and put 'Always stick to the Speed Limit' and it got rated as 'disagree' and 'agree' by numerous users - consequently my Karma has remained the same. I give up Rolling Eyes

SteveH (Apologies I'm bored at work!)

Curse my short-term memory, dulled by years of MTV and sitting too close to computer screens... I can't actually remember anything that happened last week. Confused

What magical part of Devon were you in?
Having been living here for all my 18 years, I have very rarely been able to get sunburn.
Although that might have more to do with my social habits and so on, but still, last couple of weeks here has been wierd weather, from sunny and hot to pissing it down with sidewinds, changing daily.
As for what you missed, I don't know, I have been on BCF most of the last couple of weeks and I think I have missed what is going on.

We stayed in Ilfracombe but went out and about every day to Woolacombe, Westward Ho!, Lynton + Lymouth, etc.
The roads are fab round there - wish we'd been able to take the bikes!
