just clean it after each ride, if you cover it up people wont be able to see the tarty ohlins shock Wink

i dont care about the fact its ohlins just dont wanan have to clean it non stop as the bike gets used all weather

yeah i know what you mean, but its the best way to protect it, not only the shock but the whole bike.
just have a hose at ready and just a spray down every other day or something

Surely getting a sock shock will just keep any moister that gets in it and cause more corrosion. I would be inclinded to leave it.

Liberally coat the shock with waxoil/ACF50, Slide a bit of car inner tube over it, cable ties top and bottom. Job's a good-un. Thumbs Up
