I was removing some un-used programs and games from the laptop a few days a go, then i came on today and noticed that notepad is no longer here. I still have the shortcuts on the start menu but it just will not run. Any help please?

You might want to do a full virus scan. There is a virus which affects Notepad - after all, programs don't just disappear all by themselves. Something caused it.

(Unless you're the sort of person who randomly deletes stuff from his Windows folder?) Wink

I'm too cheap to buy an up to date virus scanner Razz I presume I uninstalled/removed it accidently when i was getting rid of some other programs. It's sorted now so never mind. Thanks for the advice though.
