Hey there, I know questions on tests come up a lot, but I'm looking at doing my test over summer, obviously need to get my theory out of the way I've been doing a few tests online and passing so that should go well (hopefully)

What I am wondering though is the cheapest way of getting the test done so I'm hoping not to do any training, so to see if I'm ready I'm thinking about doing mod1 with no training as its only £15 and just see how I do. Is there a gap in how long you can do mod1 and then 2?

Yeah that was my plan to don't really have the money for all the training, and if it is possible then I may go for it.

I've got about a year and a half road experience on a 50 and now a 125 and I'm probably picking up bad habits so I want to get onto it soon finishing college in the next month so ill get on to it around then.

And reason I was asking about the Mod 2 was that if I get mod 1 done then I can save up for mod 2. Also what is involved in mod2? is it just going out on the roads and they evaluate you?

spoke to my dad he said go for it, just going to get the theory done soon, probably have to wait a while to come across some money though

The mod 1 is valid until your theory runs out so you can wait aslong as you like just make sure that your theory doesn't expire.
