Would you like to - or are you - a 'kept man'???

A kept man being a man who is permanently financially supported by a woman, be it in wedlock or outside. So you don't have to go to work, she pays all the bills and keeps a roof over your head; you have no financial contribution to the household, if you buy/do anything it is essentially with money she earned ... etc.

Frog used to be a kept man, in fact I know a bloke in Beijing who worked as a gigalo and ended up being a kept man after a woman 'bought' him exclusively. She isn't exactly a looker though.

Even if they offered I wouldn't do it. I'd feel like a fucking bum not doing anything and having to ask for money, into having my owe doe and spending it how I want.

I was sort of a kept man for a while, as I charged my girlfriend rent, and was jobless for a while.

It has its good points, but over time the woman is less keen on the idea of her alone bringing in the money.

Its socially exceptable for a woman to live at a man's expense, but the other way round, isnt so well accepted.

I think the closest I'd go to it in the future, is being with a woman who earned a lot more than me, so brought more into the household.

Nah I don't like the sound of that at all. I'd rather have a shitty job and earn a little bit than someone else be in charge of my life. That is essentially the power you give away. They will be in charge of everything... food, clothes, spending money etc.

I was a kept man for three years, got bored as fuck sitting round the house, housework, decorating, running around doing this and that, also got fed up of asking for money to buy things on top of what was already bought for me...

Sat down and told her I was getting another job because of those reasons, she wanted me to stay kept but meh, couldn't do it any longer...

I'd love it, especially at the moment because my youngest 2 kids are still at home all day as the eldest of the youngest hasn't started nursery yet.
I fucking love my kids, i hate the fact that my job means i don't get to spend as much time with them as i'd like to. Being with them all day would just be fantastic.
