I got a problem with the front brakes on one of my bikes (aprilia rs50). Everytime i brake theres this squeaky noise. No money for servicing at the moment so im planning to do it myself. Im going to remove the pads, clean all the dirt off the caliper and clean the area in general. i wanted to check it on here before i do anything, maybe there is something better i can do? what do you think.
Thanks

Put a good coat of 'copper slip' or such like on the back of pads when you put them back in.

Just... a thin smear will do where the piston sits and the edges where it slides against the caliper.
Too much of a good thing is a bad thing.

And make sure you don't get any copper slip on the contact parts of the pads and disks Laughing
