You going for yours anytime soon? Cant remember if you said you'd done mod1 yet or not.

Just sorted out insurance too, £335.93 TPFT. Near enought exactly £100 less than my 125 on provisional Laughing

Done my mod 1 - got the mod 2 on the 27th of this month in St Helens Very Happy

I know you shouldn't be able to but i'd tell the insurance to fax you something like a covering letter and then try and tax it with that. Some may say no but theres a young lad in the liscard post office who taxes things when he shouldn't Cool

What bike is it you've got again?

One step ahead of you m8 lol Laughing He's sent me an e-mail, with the details on, i may be able to do it online but he said it may take 48 hours. I need to get it printed out on a laser printer if i do it at the post office, plus i'd have to fill in the form as the guy i got the bike off didn't give us it.

Well if i must whore some more pics Laughing Honda Cb350s, got it from your neck of the woods actually. In wallasey at least, i do realise its quite a big place lol.

I'm going to wait until i pass Very Happy

If i find a bike for 360 i'll be over the moon. Do you think it is best to just keep looking on ebay? Feel free to show me if you see a bargin around.

Other than that probably a ER-5 or CB500, they seem to go for around a grand.

Well yeah depends on how much you want to spend really. It was just mere coinsidence that i bought both my bikes off ebay lol Laughing
But i got to the point where i was checking it everyday! If someone posted one up and you were to e-mail them straight away, they may be more inclined to end the auction early. If they've got bidders on already that could complicate things, i've been on the receiving end of cancelled biddings before, and its not fun! Evil or Very Mad

I assume you'll be wanting restrictors with a bike aswell? I found that a bugger when searching for bikes so watch out Laughing

ENJOY!

is the test place in chester any good ?

Its not bad i suppose, it was 3rd time lucky for both my mod 1 and mod 2. Mod 1 i failed twice because i didn't get up to speed on the swerve, I fixed that by changing riding school to one that has access to the speed sensing equipment. The YBR they had was a little better too.
Mod 2 i failed the first time for woman changing lanes into me (Failed for observation i see now). Second time was nerves i think, it was during rush hour and at a junction, i pulled out at the soonest possiblity which he failed me on Rolling Eyes
If you're planning on doing it at chester, i'd recommend doing the test at like 12. That way its not as busy so less to worry about if you're not used to the area (Like me!) Seemed to work Wink
Good luck whenever you go for it!

Or, get a cb350. I've found the height perfect for me and I'm 6ft 4!

Haha thanks, I've been riding the 350 for nearly a week now and my god it is soooooo much better than a 125! It's a nice feeling to be overtaking for a change and not getting stuck behind lorries/vans/other annoying vehicles Rolling Eyes
My uncle went with me on my first ride, so we decided it'd be good to go on the motorway, not sure about going alone yet (especially during rush hour) but I am starting to get used to being able to make it up to 70 with next to no effort Very Happy

Just spotted this thread. Congrats! I've been looking (a little obsessively) at bikes that are 33bhp legal without all that restriction rubbish. I'd mostly been looking at the Honda Bros 400 and the Kawasaki GPZ305 but this is another one I can add to my list.
