Yes, they were invited' here and there was a post about a forum discount I believe - it should have been added to the sticky at the top, but not sure I ever got to cross it off my 'to do' list.

Nice! I've been wanting to try some Silkolene Pro 4 Plus 5w40 in the YBR for a while as I've heard fantastic things about it in small cc engines, but the price has always put me off, until now... Thumbs Up Karma

Convenient, since i need to buy ALL possible oil and plugs for my Hornet rebuild, and get a couple more bottles of TTS for my stroker, and a new plug and trans oil.

Will be placing a big order within the next 5 days Wink

Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam,

For 2stroke I use any oil that has the spec of JASO FC-JASO FD

For gear oil I use an oil of the correct viscosity 5w30-10w30 and a spec that includes the letters A3\...B3

I have no brand loyalty, if the oil meets the spec it`s ok

Silkolene > Shell VSX.

Used to take a second or so to build oil pressure with the Shell VSX4, now on startup the light goes out instantly. Huzzah. And there was me thinking it was just my engine getting on a bit.

@ oilman;
Thanks! Very Happy

I've bought off Opie in the past and found the service good and the prices okay.

However, I've been using Hein Gericke semi-synthetic 10w40 for a few years now and although it's gone up to £19.99/4L it does come with a "free" oil filter.

Now I'd like to buy 20 litres of the Silkolene semi-synthetic 10w40 but even discounted at £102.57 it's still more expensive per litre than the HG own brand (Motul) oil, could you not do free carriage for an order that size? I wouldn't need next day delivery, just "whenever" (within reason).
