Hi all.

I was recently watching the 400cc/250cc race at the Cookstown 100 and noticed a trend in the models that the riders prefer to race. Ive noticed this trend in allot of other road-racing circuits such as Aberdare and obviously the TT when they competed there.

What I've noticed is that the most common bike are either Kawasaki ZXR400's, or Honda VFR/RVF's. I think I saw a Honda CBR400 at Cookstown, but was unsure. definitely had a conventional swing arm.

So basically, the bottom line is: Why are ZXR's and Honda V-fours the most popular, and why are there hardly any CBR400's? (i've never seen a FZR400 either....?)

Is it cost, performance, reliability....???

Cheers guys!

Thumbs Up

Simply because you get better power reliably out of the NC30/35 and ZXR400.

Ok, cheers.

I thought that was the case. I'm glad I bought a ZXR then! Smile

Nice simple answer! Thumbs Up

Very Happy

Could be a bot or more likely just a troll.
