Ive got an 05 kwak 636, and basicly i keep getting tank slappers, and its getting very irritating, couple of them nearly had me off!

Now i know the rear is abit hard, and does bounce me out the seat, so im going back the pre-load off abit to save my arse! but what about the front?
wats the best thing to start with first? cant really afford a steering damper at the moment, but i will be fitting one (after holiday)

any advice would be welcomed.

Oh, tyre pressures, bearings and wheel balance are all okay.

steve.

I had an 05 636 that kept shaking its head a bit vigorously, not full on tank slappers, but much more than just a wobble.

I took mine to Steve Jordans to have it set up and it did the trick, no more big shakes. Unfortunately, the sheet with the changes on is long lost but someone in your area might offer a similar service.

I was considering a steering damper before this as well but the suspension tweaks sorted out my problems and was much cheaper than a damper.

I had this at first with my 636, just takes a bit of tweaking. Same for my TL, calmed it right down.

Ask for some set up advice on mcn ninjas.
