The network coverage and useability of the Three network is about the worst I've EVER had.
I had a contract phone with them a few years ago, and had nothing but problems.
Apparently they've been well known for it, but unfortunately I only found that out after I'd signed up to an 18 month contract.

Nothing but bad news from me either, used to say I had full signal and then I'd go to someone else's house and have 5 texts come through at once from the previous day. My brother used to ring me to tell me he'd arrived to pick me up from places but I'd had no idea about it despite it saying I had full signal. Sometimes I'd get nothing for a week or something and then all of a sudden everything comes through?

When I left aswell they said they'd unlock my phone for me. Then they said it'd cost £15, then it didn't even work. Cunts.

They'll just give you 'really good deal' with some free addons or some shit, i always want to complain but the though of dealing with the call center aka the cotton fields of today, puts me right off.

Yeah they're unlikely to let you cancel it, phone companies always tend to have clauses where they can keep you paying whether it's shit service or not, they might let you 'cancel' it, but you'll probably still have to pay the remaining balance

If you are still tied into a 12/18/24 month contract then i doubt they will let you cancel just like that, unless you buy out the contract.

I'm with vodafone and there is a clause (11.3 iirc Laughing ) that if you have NO network coverage for 7 consecutive days because of something they have done/a problem at their end then you can cancel with no charges but it must be done in writing 5 or 7 days after the 7 days of no coverage.

Have you tried your sim in another phone (on three or unlocked obviously) to see if it's a network issue or phone issue? I have a HTC legend on voda as previously said and it always dropped signal, constantly. At one point it was at around 65% without signal. Despite my old man having a blackberry on voda and the phones side by side he would have full signal and i would be struggling for signal.

A replacement phone and it is as good as gold.

Been with them for over 5years now for phone and 3years for BB.

Got the orignal modem and had issues last few months with slow speeds. But upgraded last month to get a free laptop and got new modem and got far better speeds! Never had issues with coverage.

"However" Since they done the "Service Upgrades" The wife and I have had signal issues in the house where before was fine!

We pretty much outright refuse to deal with 3 network stuff at work, and on the few occasions we do, the stuff is usually half the price of what it would be on o2/voda/orange to get it to sell through at a half decent pace. Not worth the hassle at all imo Neutral
