My neutral light on my Suzuki GP125 doesn't work and my MOT is coming up next month, does anyone know if this is an MOT failure?
Also, I don't think it's the dashboard light, does anyone else know what it might be...haven't had the chance to check the connection to the engine yet, but I shall probably rip it apart tomorrow, just would be nice to know what I'm up against and what to look out for ____________________ Previously owned: Kawasaki KH125, Suzuki GP125, Suzuki GX 125, Honda CB125 TDC '83, Honda ntv 600, Kawasaki ER5, Kawasaki ZZR600, Aprilia RSV 1000 Mille

they dont need to turn the bike on lew... dont worry about it, only thing it could fail on is your ever so slightly sh*t excuse for a front brake
weekend before MOT, run it down and we'll go over it super tight |

Hi there,
no it's not subject to an MOT test, but as a matter of interest the most likely problem is the wire from the switch (either light green or plain black I think, it was nearly 30 years ago) has most probably been trapped behind the L/H casing after a front sprocket change & snapped it. sometimes they get trapped & short under the cases leaving it "ON" all the time
Speaking from past experiences on a TS50ER & a GT250 X7
Could also be the switch but less likely, these don't fail very often tbh. ____________________ To FINNISH 1ST, 1ST you gotta FINNISH.
