I have jpined today having been directed here by a mate.

I am an Old Lady who has just recently passed her test, and i live in North-West England.

I have no intention of causing trouble, but neither do I suffer fools gladly.

I hope to get to know some of you better in due course.....

....now who's round is it? I'll have a large Baileys.........

Hello and welcome, purely for research purposes I was wondering how old an "Old Lady who has just recently passed her test" is?

Rolling Eyes I ought to dock your karma for that, asking a lady about her age!

But actually I'm 40, and not afraid to admit it.

And the test pass was 30th June.

40? Since when has 40 been old? This is when life begins, when you begin to feel liberated from the uncertainties of life you experience in your 20's and 30's and get to do the things you really want to! If you are an 'old lady' at 40 then I'm positively archaic at 44!!

Anyway age is a state of mind these days! Cool

You really don't want to see the state of my mind some days.... Wink

But thanks for the kind thoughts anyway!

BTW, "Old Lady" ia also a slang term amongst outlaw bikers (see Sonny Barger's book) for their long-term wives/girlfriends so I guess I qualify on that count too as I've had a bike in my kitchen for around 12 years now (and I sometimes let the rider in the house if I'm feeling generous! Laughing )

I used to keep a bike in my kitchen but I found it difficult to cook the Sunday roast on it. Wink
