Only spoke briefly to owner as he was in a hurry but he'd done 18,000 miles on it.
I've always thought Guzzi's fall apart at the first whiff of Winter, but this one was 4 years old and still looked brand new.
Does anyone have any experience of Guzzi's.
I really want one of these.

the new guzzis like the griso's are ment to have quite good build quality, i'm waiting (with hope) till they build a big block V7 cafe.

I don't really see a massive attractiveness to it, yes it's a nice bike from a cool manufacturer but I would prefer a Norton or Triumph if something a bit different were the case.

Never heard of or even seen a Guzzi. The seat looks so far back from the handle bars.

guzzi's are pretty popular here in nz,
ive ridden a few including the griso,
the thing with guzzi's is well, even though they have a new style, they still run a pretty agricultural feeling pushrod engine, and generally are 2 valve engines, but the newer ones are 4 valve and have a seperate cams, kind of like the boxer beemers, not ohc, but close.
its not a bad thing, they are pretty manly,
they are kind of on par with the 2v ducatis than harleys and definitely rev alot harder,
i'd buy one

I've had a California III in the past, and I'd have a Griso without a doubt. Would probably sell the SP-1 for one and live without a 'superbike'.

But they demand good SH premiums.

Older model Moto Guzzi's had really build quality...in fact I've never heard anything bad about them... Apart from the folklore that because they are Italian they have to hate the wet weather...
