Clutch bite

Just as a matter of interest, where do you adjust your clutch to bite?

I have tried all positions but much prefer the clutch to bite very early on, it feels weird adjusted right at the end.

Also just wanted to mention I pulled over tonight to adjust my mirrors and a biker coming the other way slowed down to see if everything was OK, top man!

Mines usually quite light, but too far in and i seem to get.. something like a double bite, it catches, then judders as you let it out more, so just before that starts happening Very Happy

I have mine near the end of the lever travel (away from the bar).

Far out to mid half way, when trying to pop the front my hand likes it out that far. and generally that position stops cramp for me.

Makes no difference to me. If it's not slipping or dragging then it's fine.

Not that worried, but without any slack there is too much chance the clutch will slip (or possibly slip when the bars are turned one way).

^^^Aye, it's a fine line between no slack and tight.

Slipping the clutch on slow speed maneuvers with a pillion is easier for me with the bite at the end of lever travel.

Same with the throttle. I like mine with 1-2mm of freeplay.
