If you have never held a licence before and its your first provisional application you will get a provisional driving licence valid until your 70th Birthday.

You will get the following cateogries.

A: Motorcycle
B: Car
F: tractors
K: lawnmowers
P: Mopeds

Hope this help! Thumbs Up

A question relating to this, you seem to know your stuff.

I've passed my bike test, A2, so I'm restricted at the moment obviously but now I'm planning driving lessons, do I have to re-apply for a prov? Or is there somewhere I've been ditsy enough not to look carefully at on it that allows me to still learn in a car?

Also I've a GPZ Smile

Check your license, it should have provisional B on it.

This is something I'm interested in too. I have a full UK driving license, which I've held for 4 years, do I need to apply for a seperate provisional bike license or will the provisional bike license be on my current license?
