Right. I know some of you are probablys sick of me by now and my heap of shit bike that is Natalie.
Anyway on the way to work this morning I was pottering along and then the bike lost power and warbled as If I had ran out of petrol. So whilst rolling along I stuck it on reserve and went to carry on. But at about 7000ish revs the rev counter went mental jumping all over the place. I managed to limp along because I was near work. The bike felt like it was kangerooing even though I had the throttle open. It was backfiring like fuck and then just around the corner from work it made a huge bang and I only just got made it to work.
I had recently changed the spark plug for an iridium one so my first thought was on my lunch break I should change the plug back because I had kept the old one. That made no difference. So I checked to see If I had 2 stroke oil in it, it's low but the light hasn't come on the dash yet and there is still enough in there.
I checked the petrol and there is still enough to not even be on the reserve. The bike starts fine and idles fine but if you go up the revs the bike stops and kangeroos but the rev counter shoots up and down.
Any help as soon as possible would be lovely because I have left work 3 hours early tonight to get this fixed for tommorow morning otherwise I be fucked. I nearly had to push it if it wasn't for the security guard owning a van.

Check the last reply from alains (powervalve servo).
Asside that i would say get the carb appart, sounds like the jets could be blocked, check the usual suspects (air flow from air box to engine, fuel from tank to engine etc).
Due to the sudden onset it sounds like a bit of a mistery, if you do get the tank/airbox/carb etc out/off though it may be worth draining the coolant and whipping the head off whilst your there.
Get stuck in, throw up any pictures of anything unusual and i'll give it another google.
