On a serious note, I'm flitting between a knackered GPZ600 and a very good condition RF900.

Neither are particularly sporty but I seem to be able to nip past a fair few shiny new sportsbikes, and I know people that could hustle me on something even less suited for the job.

At the end of the day, if they're only putting themselves in hedges etc., then they are adults who have been trusted with a responsibility and haven't used it. I haven't got much sympathy, but I don't really mind. If they want to get all kitted up and show off to their non-biker mates then they are free to do so, sort of like jap plastic Harleys Laughing

whats with you??
a whole string of posts, pretty much isolating yourself from other riders,
im not even sure you are a biker, the way you go on, you seem more like a disgruntled old man with an austin maxi, who hates the fact that bikers are taking up road space that your crappy old car should be in,

get over yourself

What do you ride by the way?

Well, we've never seen this before.

Which should mean you've become tolerant and amiable towards others rather than being a whiny old bitch?

So what if sports bike riders can't ride; so what if they die trying; so what if you think that's worth giving yourself a pat on the back for pointing out.

my excuse for not having 30 years of biking experience is that im 21 and have had a ''sports bike'' since i was 18.

however

i'm pretty confident in my abilities that i could probably obliterate you on corners a non-sportsbike type. i have a car. it gets used either when i need it, or i have no other choice. probably once a week.

STOP with the patronising will you, this is really dull. It also does not sit well with us other oldies on the board. This place works better with suggestion not Hitler-esque rants. So I suggest you get off your high horse before you get pushed off, and stop being a major tw@t, okay! Rolling Eyes Laughing

the novelty warn off??
since you know absolutly nothing about me it seems a completly useless post,
but a re-cap on my biking history if you like.
i was given my 1st bike at 3 and started racing motocross at 6, i raced every weekend untill i was 16, and rode every day, as i lived on a farm (here in nz) at 15 when i got my learners licence i bought a rgv250, i rode every day to school for a year untill i got my full licence at 16,
i sold that and bought a zx400, and had that for a year untill i joined the army, and sold it while i did basic training, after basic i bough another bike, and have rode bikes almost every day for the last 14 years since then, i have had well over 30 bikes in the last 15 years, and they have been, sports bikes, commuters, scooters, cruisers, nakeds and every thing in between,
i currently own 5 bikes, and i doubt ill ever give up bikes,
so pop that up your self righteous pipe and smoke it you condescending tosser
