I've finally found out how to get Red Alert working with XP!

Red alert I have all the expansion packs, out if interest how did you get it to work as I have no games to play at the moment and don't want to mess about with it

To install it you need to select the properties of the setup file and select Windows95 compatibility mode.

When its installed run the RA108USP.exe patch and do as it says. Then go into your red alert directory and delete the thipx32.dll file. Then open the ccgoldxppatch.zip file and extract thipx32.dll from there into your red alert directory.

Et voila!

[edit] I can't attatch the second file for some reason, just do a google search for RA108USP.exe and you'll find it.

That's the full game someone has fixed to work on XP. Comes with both expansion packs too and you don't need the CD.
