Hey all

I'm rebuilding my Suzuki GP100, and one of the problems is that it doesn't have the original rear wheel.

Its a GS125 rear wheel which works perfectly ok but the tyre I have got it for it a 2.75 x 18 tyre which is correct for the original wheel.

However the tyre fitted at the mo on the GS wheel is a 3.00 x 18.

Is 2.75 x 18 ok for the GS125 rear wheel or not?

Advice much appreciated. Thumbs Up

A 2.75 tyre is 0.25" (about 6mm) narrower than a 3.00 tyre.

If the current tyres bulges over the lip at all, I would do it. You have an inner tube in there as well.

However, the 3.00 tyre should fit fine and not make much of a difference to the handling.

thanks robby

yeah should be fine as i want to use the 2.75 tyre anyway, as i have one in the garage sitting there doing nothing Very Happy

I know putting on a bigger rear tyre screws up the handling somewhat in terms of profile etc
