Just curious.

For me, it is Leeds United.

Quite an unusual choice of team since I am from Scotland and dont get to as many games as I like.

Been into Leeds ever since I was a baby.

What about everybody else ?

I've been to a couple of Bluebirds games, was... enlightening Shocked
One was at Brentford, I was aware of keeping my English gob quiet, when at half time a bloke stood up and in a big, loud cockney accent "Whats the facking West Ham score, then?"

Why do football threads end up with football bashing? If people want to spend time and money watching millionaires kick a ball about a field, why not let them get on with it?

I support myself. TPTB make that hard enough a job, so I'm fucked if I'm giving a group of overpaid millionaires any of my time or energy.

We do (how could we stop them? Confused ), but that doesn't mean we can't amuse ourselves by heaping contempt and derision upon their vacuum-filled heads.

I'm not into footie. It has never interested me and never will. Living in Merseyside this is seen my many as slightly strange behaviour which I used to try to hide by mumbling my way through football conversations with non-commital comments. These days though I just say straight off when asked for my opinion on X's chances "no idea, not really into footie I'm afraid". If the person I'm speaking to thinks that because of this I'm a social deviant then let them!

Oddly virtually all of my friends are football fans, with the exception of those who ride and are enthusiastic about bikes. Perhaps generally there's only room in a man's brain for one slightly nerdy obsession.

Oh come on Shandy, you've been on BCF long enough to know how it works. About the only thread guaranteed to get a solely 'positive' result would be something like 'Aren't bikes fantastic?'.
Actually, even then someone would probably post something like 'Bikes are shit, mine broke down and left me stranded etc'.

Norwich City FC (div 3 champions Laughing )

I'm not really a massive fan, go to maybe one game a season and listen to them on the radio if I'm not busy.
But the whole city does seem to revolve around the football club so it does create a nice vibe when they do well.

I dont go to matches, but I watch the highlights on match of the day, I don't really support a team as such, but I do follow the results of my local team Stoke City. I shall of course be enjoying the England matches in the boozer.
