No. Just remove the washer from the exhaust.

And bullshit does he. Im sorry, but you wont be seeing much more than 55mph out of a 50, i've seen 60mph ONCE, and i have no idea how, must have had a strong tailwind.

Take the exhaust off, in one end should be a welded washer, just take it out.

Even a 70 kit wont.. my 125 just hits 70mph on a good day..

Take the exhaust off and get rid of the "washer" looking item thats at the top of the exhaust (bit that bolts to your head)
i think.

If its a 2 stroke then usually variator is restricted.

Dont say outrageous stuff then...this is BCF.

Have a look at the exhaust for a washer, also check your variator for a washer.

the exhaust should be replaced on those mopeds according to the taffspeed website. They are heavily restrictive

if it were me,
i'd pull apart the variator, replace the rollers with 7grm ones,
and make sure there was no spacer in there,
then i would pull the exhaust, de-coke and look for/ remove any restriction,
and after all that, i would be happy if i got 40-45mph
if i got 70, i'd even call myself a liar Very Happy
