yeah, with that angle he could have just jumped off without any skates and so long as he didn't roll ended up fine at the bottom.
Shit, I can't skate and I would take that on for a few bucks .

Got to call bullshit on that one, but no way I can prove it. If it looks high on the video then it's going to look much higher when standing on the platform.

Just looking at a scale and it's about 150ft that he drops in from.

He may of jumped from 150ft but the ramp was at about 130ft. Laughing [EDIT] The ramps actually at about 140ft.

If you're going to jump from a famous landmark then jump from the top, if it's too high, find a smaller landmark. Like the guy who jumped up/down that building in France. From the top.

Still don't see it as being dangerous as such. You're right in that saying you would do something and standing on the edge and going through with it are 2 different things.
It would be like jumping of it and landing on one of those stung man blow up landing mats.
All in all pretty safe with minimal risk of a fuck up.
I can logic my way around fear and go through with things like this.
If I could drive a nail through the back of my hand and know I was going to miss everything and cause no permanent damage I would do it in a heart beat. Has to be motivation though and I'm pretty sure he would have got plenty $ for that effort.
