gilera sc

whats the gilera sc like? what is the top speed on them because i had a yamaha xt125 before and i could only get 70 but i no longer have it because i wrote it off.

I have one and derestricted it pulls up to around 90 mph

I used to have a 2008 SC125.

Cracking bike, sounds a bit meatier than your average 125, looks pretty darn good and handles really well, mostly due to the USD Marzocchi forks and other little bits.

I'd definitely recommend one, fastest I ever got out of mine was 85. (Tucked down, behind another bike for a slipstream.)

if you want a real one get a mito evo ..... or one of them tzr 125's 'belgarde' i think they where?

This is my SC125. Bought it off a friend who had it from new. Low sided it. Sprayed it black and then left it outside in the rain for around a year. it was siezed solid from neglect and was in a general state of rubbishness. I bought it off him for £270 and a packet of haribo (not bad for a 57 plate). Dropped the engine out and took the top end to work for a rebuild.

Fitted the freshly rebuild engine back in and it fired up straight away. Its just a case of tidying it up now and selling it on I have all the plastics but they arent fitted in the pics.

out of intrest whats the motor in them like vs say the rs125's? more reliable more power? see ist a yam motor so id assume alittle more relablity for same ish power?

That's what it was like before. I am trying to restore it as much as possible as im selling it. Does look good in rat bike style though

i would do my full test but im going in to the army the end of this year so i will just wait . all i know about the engine is that its out a yamaha dt125r i got told.
