yea ive got some excel rims for it too, not putting it on the road though, just using it as a motocross bike, im banned thats why i've bought a dirt bike so i can at least ride on tracks every weekend.

Nice CRF, I loved mine. Although saying that i just sold it to buy a Husqvarna TC450 thats been SM'd (or an SXV 5.5 if i can save up lol).
Massive punch off the bottom end with a mad top end when tuned right.
Get the offset triple clamps completely transforms the handling. Doesn't push in the corners.
SM conversions are everywhere as you have probably seen. If your thinking about doing it. excel - talons are around £400.
Have a look on seventeeninches.co.uk for a good uk sm forum.
Can definatly reccomend K-tech for getting the suspension tuned properly.
Hot cams stage 3 for a better top end an over-run.
I used an akra ti header with a standard can for the best all round improvement to performance. Without going OTT loud.
ASV levers are the best bar none.
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS check your valves. If it drops one (which they are prone to unfortunatly) its a new motor for you.
The allen bolts are very prone to snapping when over-tightened, especially on the tank. (i did 3)
Most seem to run a little rich.
Also i can deffinatly reccomend the boysen quick shot carb mod to stop bogging (its a nesessity to be honest). And also the boysen high power water pump as they have a habit of going too.
(if your interested i've got a set of 4 brand new spark plugs, black body work, a rear sprocket and some other bits. Could work something out PM me.)

Just had the valves done as all my mates who ride mx have said how prone they are to going, only gonna supermoto it when i get my licence back in april, till then im just riding local tracks.
