Passed my theory test today in my usual style, left looking at practice questions etc till last night, had an electrical disaster in my shop (there was none) at about 9 so didn't get home till 6.30 this morning! Then couldn't find paper bit of my licence, so went to test centre feeling a bit shit and worried about lack of knowledge, test was somewhat different to the car one I did in 1997 but shockingly managed to pass despite the ridiculously confusing video bit, what a load of shit that was!! Now just gotta find a reasonable price for a couple of days DAS can't wait. Need a licence if only to cut down the amount of time I spend looking at bikes for sale! If anyone had a reasonable price/experience of DAS in London let me know please Thumbs Up

I have mine booked, we chatted on the phone and I told the guy that I have my CBT and theory done already, have been riding my 125 and had a go on the boyfriends Bandit. So he booked me in for two days practise straight on a 500cc at the test centre with the Mod 1 on the third day. Mod 2 has been left open ended but I get the impression that as soon as I have passed the first I will get booked in ASAP for Mod 2.

Call around, a few places I spoke to had their set training schedules (125 changeover day, two/three days riding, Mod 1, another day riding, Mod 2) but some are a little more flexible than that. A fair few around me offer free taster or assessment sessions.

If your near south London then I thoroughly reccommend ultimate rider training.

Website is: https://www.ultimateridertraining.com/

It's actually in Surrey, but it's worth the journey!

The were brilliant.

I used to live in Brentwood but not too close to Romford now! Doing it with North London Motorcycle training for £450 they seemed quite a laugh and at least had the decency to give me an hours free assessment before deciding that a short course would be ok for me Thumbs Up
